INSULATION of the dome of a house made of HORSE concrete!
Subject: dome-shaped private house made of hemp concrete with two wings – HEMPCRETE DOME.
Solution used: Spraying bituminous mass onto the lime plaster of the dome using an Inotec inoBEAM M8 peristaltic pump. The mass acts as a waterproofing and diffusion membrane at the same time. The dome’s partitions are made of hempcrete. The object was a very big challenge for the contractor due to the innovative way of spraying hempcrete on a Polish scale, and also due to the size of the dome, specifically its 14-meter diameter. It is currently the world’s largest hempcrete dome.

Equipment: a peristaltic pump inotec inobeam m8 and two Gentlin Compressors C330/03. For the pump was produced a dedicated hose with a custom length to allow operation at irregular heights what forced the type of building construction.
