IZOPRESS Autopaker – a device for microcement and polymer resin injection

Application:

An easy-to-use injection device designed for microcement injection or highly penetrating, easily flowable polymer resin injection.
The device is used to fill voids, reattach loose or “loose-fitting” porcelain and ceramic tiles, and perform crack injection in concrete, brick, and ceramic elements.

The device consists of three parts:

– adhesive plastic injection tip, 50 mm in diameter – “packer”
– injection material reservoir
– spring-loaded drive mechanism

The repair begins by drilling holes with a diameter of 3–4 mm to a depth of 10 mm.
When performing injection under tiles, drill several holes in the grout at points where there is a hollow sound. When performing crack injection, drill directly into the crack. After vacuuming the hole, wipe the tile surface with a cloth dampened with solvent, and clean the concrete surface with a brush and vacuum it.

Using hot-melt adhesive, attach the packer by applying a continuous bead of adhesive to the underside of the packer and pressing it firmly against the surface. To position the packer accurately, you can use, for example, a toothpick inserted through the packer, which will help center it over the hole.

Microcement injection:
Once the adhesive joint has set, moisten the substrate by injecting water using a reservoir.
After 3–5 minutes, you can begin the injection of the material.
The microcement must be mixed very thoroughly with water using a high-speed mixer (IZOPRESS MIX 70). Fill the material reservoir by drawing the material from the container and connect it to the packer using the drive mechanism, which will pressurize and fill the void. Continue the injection until the grout stops flowing out of the device, refilling the hopper with another batch as needed.

Resin injection:
When using a resin injection, do not moisten the substrate!
After weighing the components according to the specified proportions, mix the resin using a mixer (IZOPRESS MIX 70) at low speed. Fill the reservoir by suctioning in the mixed material.
The hot melt adhesive used is easy to remove and leaves no residue on the tiles.
In the case of microcement injection, the packers should be removed at least 24 hours after the injection is completed. For resin injection, remove them after at least 3 hours.
