The CME5 concrete moisture meter is a handheld electronic device that operates on the principle of non-destructive impedance measurement. The electrodes, which operate in parallel, are located in the base of the meter. During measurement, they transmit a low-frequency signal to a depth of 12–20 mm within the concrete.
