The Tramex DEC Scanner is a professional moisture meter that enables effective leak detection without the need to damage the roof deck.
Designed for non-destructive testing of roofing systems using electrical impedance measurements.
Suitable for various roofing materials: roofing felt, EPDM, PVC; also effective on ballast roofs (gravel).
The DEC Scanner is used not only during acceptance inspections and quality control, but also as part of periodic inspections and prior to scheduled roof repairs and renovations.
It enables the inspection of flat roofs covering up to approximately 9,000 m² per day
With three sensitivity ranges, the DEC Scanner allows for the inspection of various types of membranes and insulation thicknesses. Scanning is fast and efficient over large areas, and the results are displayed continuously and clearly, enabling the creation of moisture maps and the precise identification of damp spots.
Sensitivity ranges:
- Range 1: Best suited for single layers and thin roofing materials
such as PVC or Hypalon, with a maximum signal depth of 30–50 mm - Range 2: Best suited for multi-layer systems using bituminous roofing felt with granules, with a maximum signal depth of 70–80 mm (
