Pressure injection is a process that requires specialist knowledge and experience. If your project is unusual or you need advice on selecting a specific sealing technology, our technical advisors are here to help. Please get in touch – we’ll help you avoid mistakes on site.
The best choice of injection packers depends on the type of work, the operating pressure and the injection material. Steel packers are mainly used for pressure injection of resins, sealing leaks and injecting cracks and fissures in concrete. Plastic packers are suitable for horizontal wall waterproofing and low-pressure grouting.
- Steel packers – high strength and tightness for high-pressure injection
- Plastic packers – quick installation and a cost-effective solution for wall injection and damp-proofing
IZOPRESS 4injection is Poland’s longest-established brand of pressure injection equipment. We design and develop solutions for professional injection work in concrete and masonry.
IZOPRESS 4injection offers a wide range of injection products:
- injection pumps
- injection packers (steel, plastic)
- injection accessories
- spiral anchors for wall reinforcement
- injection hoses and lances
Renting injection pumps is a convenient and cost-effective solution for companies carrying out work related to waterproofing, leak sealing and pressure injection. It allows you to select the right equipment for a specific application without having to purchase the equipment.
As part of the rental service, you can obtain the following in one place:
- a professional injection pump suited to the type of work,
- injection chemicals and packers,
- expert technical advice,
- fast logistics and nationwide delivery.
Rental is particularly useful in the event of a pump failure, which can be repaired at IZOSERVICE.
The selection of the diameter and length of the injection packer depends primarily on the type of structure, the diameter of the drilled hole and the injection technology. Correctly selected injection packers influence the feed rate of the injection material, the reliability of installation, the precise delivery of the grout to the required location, and the speed of injection work.
When selecting a packer, the following should be taken into account:
- the thickness of the wall or structure,
- the type of substrate (concrete, brick, masonry, stone),
- type of grouting material,
- type of grouting pump,
- operating pressure during injection.
Longer injection packers are most commonly used for thick structures and deep injection, particularly in the case of layered partitions. Shorter packers, on the other hand, are suitable for standard sealing work, crack injection and sealing cracks in concrete and masonry.
Not always. Many two-component resins can also be applied using single-component pumps, provided that components A and B are thoroughly mixed beforehand and the resin has a sufficiently long curing time. The material’s reaction time must allow the resin in the pump to be dispensed before the curing process begins.
However, two-component pumps are the best solution when working with fast-reacting injection resins, for continuous operation, and for projects requiring high throughput and precise dosing of the injection material. An example of a professional pump for injecting two-component resins is the IZOPRESS PRO 2K-25.
Spiral anchors are made of stainless steel and are mainly used to tie together cracked walls, reinforce lintels, and repair cracks and fissures in brick walls.
Spiral anchor:
- has a spiral shape that ensures excellent anchoring in the mortar,
- thanks to a larger contact area with the mortar than a reinforcing bar, it transfers greater tensile forces and works better with the masonry,
- it is made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel.
Reinforcing bar:
- has a solid cross-section and high stiffness,
- it is mainly used for reinforcing concrete and reinforced concrete structures,
- it works less effectively with load-bearing masonry and during the renovation of old structures.
IZOPRESS Anchor spiral anchors are most commonly chosen for the renovation of historic buildings, the repair of cracked walls and the reinforcement of masonry structures, as they effectively stabilise the wall.
One of the most popular single-component injection pumps is the IZOPRESS 400 — an electric diaphragm pump designed for pressure injection of resins. The device is valued for its ease of use, compact design and versatility in sealing leaks, injecting cracks and drying out walls.
The IZOPRESS 400 injection pump is suitable for both smaller renovation works and large infrastructure projects, such as tunnels, underground railways and underground structures.
It is most commonly used for sealing and reinforcement injections using polyurethane and epoxy materials.
The higher-end model of this injection pump is the IZOPRESS PRO 1K-33, designed for similar applications but without heating the injection material. The pump also allows for working with acrylic gels with longer setting times.
